"Mitochondrial DNA mutations in cancer: prevalent and relevant”" will be presented by Payam Gammage, Ph.D., group Leader at the CRUK Scotland Institute and Professor of Mitochondrial Biology at the University of Glasgow. 

"AceTAC, a novel, innovative and targeted protein acetylation modality to functionally activate p53 tumor suppressor" will be presented by Md Kabir, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow in the Jian Jin Lab, Department of Pharmacological and Oncological Sciences, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

EToH and the GCI are turning the Bellini Atrium into a mini science-meets-art gallery and we’d love for you to be part of it. Whether it’s a stunning histology image, a journal cover, a creative data visualization, or an artistic take on your research, this is your chance to share your work in a new light.

Research Day is an annual event organized by the Goodman Cancer Student Society. It offers trainees the opportunity to present their work within a network of experts and peers, to share innovative strategies to help further their projects, and to foster collaborations amongst different labs and research institutes.
