Angela Palmer’s art can be found in numerous public and private collections, including the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, The Ashmolean Museum (Oxford), and the The Science Museum London. Her work spans many exciting collaborations in STEM: a deforestation exhibit shown at the 2010 World Climate Change Summit, a Formula 1 Renault Sport engine, a coronavirus particle unveiled by Sarah Gilbert (pioneer of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine), to 6 deadly microbes for which breakthrough vaccines were developed at Oxford. Her next solo exhibit will focus on endangered species.
The Emerging Topics in Health (EToH) seminar series is cohosted by the Departments of Microbiology and Immunology, Physiology, Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Goodman Cancer Institute, and the McGill University Research Centre on Complex Traits (MRCCT). The organizers invite guest speakers to talk about their current research.
